有你，真好 is a day-in-the-life photo series featuring the photographer’s father after he was diagnosed with coronary artery disease. Known as the joker in the family, this news left him feeling troubled and conflicted. Fearing that a bypass surgery will take a toll on his body, especially with a weak immune system, he turned to many alternatives in hopes of turning the tide. From visiting Traditional Chinese Medical physician to going for prayers to eating awful tasting concoctions, it was his family who cheered him on.

The photographer decided to document this journey and capture these fleeting moments to remember this family milestone, while using it as an opportunity to spend more time with her father, who has been quietly standing by her all these years. Titled 有你，真好 (Thankful for You), it is dedicated to her family – particularly her father – for being her pillars of support.
